Job type: Full-time& Permanent

Main duties:

· Plan, organize, and oversee all operations of a renovation company, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

· Prepare competitive bids and detailed proposals for construction and renovation projects.

· Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and design requirements.

· Recruit, hire, and supervise trade subcontractors for specialized tasks such as plumbing, heating, and electrical work.

· Develop work schedules and coordinate the activities of subcontractors to maintain efficient project flow.

· Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

· Maintain an up-to-date directory of suppliers and trade subcontractors for future projects.

· Design and execute marketing and advertising strategies to promote the company's products and services.

· When necessary, perform hands-on carpentry or other skilled trade work during construction or renovation projects.

physical Requirements:

· Physically capable of being able to stand, walk, bend, and use hands and appliances.

· Able to lift, carry or handle heavy objects (40-50lbs+)

Required Education:

High school or equivalent

Qualifications:

· At least 10 years of experience in cooperative interior design

· Project manager qualification or proven experience as a project manager

· Extensive experience in the construction industry, including experience as a general supervisor, is usually required for self-employment as a builder or a renovator.

· Leading in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification may be an asset in bidding on and obtaining building and renovation projects.

Salary:

· $40.00-$45.00 per hour (to be negotiated) for 35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
