Job Overview

Simply Silk Laser Hair Solution is seeking a skilled and dedicated Laser Technician & Skin Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality laser treatments and skin care while ensuring the utmost care and satisfaction for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laser hair removal and other laser treatments according to established protocols.
  • Perform skin care analysis & a variety of facials.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized before and after each use.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Educate clients on treatment processes, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
  • Assist in retail sales of skincare products and services, promoting additional offerings to clients.
  • Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Certification or training in laser technology is necessary.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Laser Hair Removal.
  • Previous experience with Sharplight Technology or similar aesthetic treatments is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to the beauty and wellness industry.
  • Experience in retail sales is a plus, with the ability to promote products effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Additional Skin Care certificates (ex, esthetician diploma or certificates in facial skin care, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling, etc.) are an asset that is preferred.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
