The Senior Financial Analyst supports month-end financial reporting and planning activities, combining analytical insight with technical accounting expertise. This role contributes to accurate financial close processes, variance analysis, and decision-support reporting, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders.

About the Opportunity

  • Perform month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and related financial adjustments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support consolidation through inter-entity analysis.
  • Analyze inventory and cost data to identify trends, working capital considerations, and financial risks.
  • Review project or operational costing and provide actionable insights to leadership to support performance management.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring financial and operational reports to business partners.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis to inform strategic and operational decisions.

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance with a professional accounting designation (or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, technical accounting, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and financial reporting processes.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism when handling confidential financial information.

Pay Rate

$40.00 / Hour
