The Children's Therapy and Family Resource Centre (CTFRC) has provided services for children in the Kamloops, BC area since 1991. We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to develop their skills and abilities to their full potential, and to live fully within their family, school and community. We strive to:

- Assist children to participate in their communities by identifying and removing environmental and personal barriers, increasing supports in their environment, and enhance their competencies at the personal level;
- Focus on social inclusion and participation.
CTFRC has a term, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position available to start immediately (37.5 hours per week). This is a temporary (term) position covering a leave, with the potential to become permanent.
The successful applicant will work with children with special needs, aged birth-to-school entry (age 5), and their families. Services are provided in a family-centered, community outreach model. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory. Recent grads are encouraged to apply as mentoring will be provided as well as opportunities for further education.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent qualification.
- Membership (or eligible membership) in the College of Health Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Clearance of a Criminal record check required upon hiring.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Kamloops is located in the sunny Southern Interior of British Columbia within easy distance of the Lower Mainland, as well as Revelstoke to the east, Valemount to the north and the Okanagan to the south.
