Job Description
Job Summary
UPS is currently looking for Afternoon Part Time Local Sorters for our Kamloops Package Centre Operations.
Local Sorters responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, stocking packages and washing vehicles. Local Sorters may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Location: 1845 Kryczka Place, Kamloops BC
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM Start (start time will vary according to operational requirements)
  • UPS is a Federally Regulated Workplace

Responsibilities

  • Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
  • Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Ability to read and memorize postal codes
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
