Skid Steer Operator

Spectrum Property Maintenance Ltd is looking to hire a full time Skid Steer Operator / Snow Plow Operator with the possibility to continue working full-time during the summer.

Compensation: $27-35 per hour with guaranteed minimum hours pay (120hr / month) in winter. Guaranteed hours are paid even if it didn't snow that month.

Once we hit (or see in the forecast that we will hit) our trigger amount, you will be contacted by your supervisor and given your start time. The objective is to clear parking lots/roadways for our condominium customers, so shifts can start between 5:00- 6:00am.

To supplement the hours provided by snow plowing, you will be doing Offsite Snow Removals, Parking Lot Sanding, Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance, site checks and etc.

This job requires previous experience with Bobcats/Skid steers or plow trucks and all applicants must:

  • Have previous experience operating Bobcats/Skid Steers or plow trucks with at least 2 years of experience

  • Be familiar with the operation of industry-standard plows/attachments

  • Have experience plowing parking lots

  • Have a Valid Alberta Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract

  • Have reliable transportation to and from work

  • Must be able to drive a truck with a trailer

  • Work under minimal supervision.
