Mileage Auto Plus is an independent automotive service center located in Thunder Bay, ON. We offer all sorts of automotive repair solutions as well as used automobile sales. We are passionate about cars and take pride in what we do. We are looking for someone who shares the same passion to join our team.

Mileage Auto Plus is looking for an experienced driven candidate to be our Lot Porter/Grounds keeper/vehicle detailer. Candidate will be required to primarily perform lot and repair center maintenance. This is an entry level job that will train you for all the skills required to work in a shop environment.

This job requires the candidate to be proficient in operating machinery such as skid steers, tire machines, and such. The candidate would be in charge of making sure that the repair center and surrounding areas are kept neat and tidy. Responsibilities would include washing and detailing of vehicles as well. Candidates must have valid Drivers License. Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Other duties include routine maintenance such as replenishing gas, oil and other fluids, changing batteries , knowledge of tire changing machine and wheel balancer is considered an asset.

Availability:

We are looking for candidates with full time availability and must be willing to work 8AM-5.30PM, Monday - Friday and occasionally Saturdays as well.

Qualifications:

Must be experienced in the Automotive field.

Must be handy and should be able to perform basic shop maintenance work.

Must display High Energy Level, Ability to Multitask and follow instructions, Dependability, Persistence, Good Time Management Skills, Attendance, An Eye For Detail, Independence, Safety Management, Problem Solving and a Team Player.

It is also necessary to have the ability to take detailed notes on vehicle condition and movement. being mindful of customer and shop property at all times.

This is a fast pace job with benefits provided, and candidate that shows excellent work ethics can expect good rewards and a possible career in the automotive field.

Starting wage is $16/Hour and will advance pay on performance.
