Role: Senior Power BI Developer

Rate: 60-70/hr

Role: Hybrid

Job Summary

As a Power BI Developer , you will be responsible for creating Power BI reports based on the requirements. You will utilize your expertise in Power BI Service, MS Power BI, and data modeling to drive project success. This role requires a hybrid work model with no travel obligations, focusing on day shifts.

Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they meet organizational objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee the integration of Power BI Service and MS Power BI into project workflows to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on data modeling techniques within Power BI to optimize data analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from planned outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports and risk assessments, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project teams to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project management and data handling.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize your expertise in Power BI to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with IT and data teams to ensure the availability and reliability of data resources for project needs.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving among team members.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and provide feedback to stakeholders to inform future project planning.

Qualifications

  • Eligible for Pro-B Clearance - Must have
  • Possess a strong background in Power BI Service and MS Power BI, with proven experience in data modeling techniques.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Exhibit strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex data sets and providing actionable insights.
  • Have experience working in a hybrid work model, adapting to both remote and in-office environments.
  • Show proficiency in stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in Power BI and project management.
  • Hold a bachelors degree in a relevant field, with additional certifications in project management or data analytics being advantageous.
