You are a Media Manager.

You are responsible for end-to-end media campaigns, including planning, execution, and reporting and are the main day to-day client contact. Working with cross-functional teams to access all ChangeMakers services, you will ensure the strategic delivery of client goals and business objectives.

You will provide leadership and maintain a broad level of involvement in all accounts in the group, encouraging the highest quality media product and client satisfaction. You also play an active role in coaching, training, and mentoring junior team members. We operate in a fast-paced, agile environment - which means wearing many hats, being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn as the need arises. The role requires people who can prioritize, multitask, and deliver.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for day-to-day client engagement and account management.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of client specific media campaigns across all channels including social, search, programmatic, and traditional media where applicable.
  • Participates in client-facing media plan and reporting presentations in conjunction with senior management.
  • Conducts and reviews in-platform execution across media platforms, including campaign setups and optimizations.
  • Develops and maintains client and agency partner relationships.
  • Supervises and coaches junior staff on the day-to-day running of the account, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, project status is monitored, and client requests are handled in a timely manner.
  • Works with all internal resources including Account Services (if applicable), Strategy and Finance in carrying out the execution of their media campaigns and client service requirements.
  • Monitors and manages project and campaign status to ensure on-time completion.
  • Collaborates with junior team members on optimizing campaign performance and conducting reporting tasks as required.
  • Assist with and oversee all media administrative duties including campaign set-up and maintenance, and issue accurate client financial reports i.e. BCRs, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensures financial reporting and budget controls/forecasts are issued accurately and on time.

What type of person should I be?

  • 6+ years of related work experience, preferably in a brand or agency environment
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Hands-on experience executing media campaigns in platforms including but not limited to Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, etc.
  • Experience with day-to-day client-facing communication and presentations
  • Working knowledge of programmatic media and DSPs an asset
  • Working knowledge of traditional media – print, OOH, TV, radio an asset
  • Experience working in a fast-paced professional services environment dealing with executive level decision makers and critical business issues
