The Role

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is looking for an Apprentice Parts Technician for our Fort McMurray location, to provide assistance to internal and external customers, providing advice on required parts, companion parts, available specials and exposure to our full product line.

Responsibilities

Have a basic understanding of Kenworth parts and associated electronic Parts catalogues and computer systems

Provision of sound customer service in a fast paced Parts environment

Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of

· Apprentice Parts Technician with NAIT or SAIT Parts course

· High school diploma or equivalent

· One year experience in a Parts department, preferably in the heavy truck parts industry

· Experience with electronic catalogues

· Previous Kenworth dealership experience considered an asset

· Clean driver's abstract

Shift

This is a permanent full time position that may include afternoon, evening, and Saturday shifts as well as after-hours phone call out.
