Partner Sales Director for Microsoft is an entrepreneurial creative who will define and execute the Canadian partner strategy with local and global leaders, driving growth and meeting revenue targets. This person must have a passion for technology & consulting, proven success in building trusted relationships, and experience developing pipeline and retiring quota. We're looking for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment, with decision-making in your hands, to help maintain a healthy partner relationship between Microsoft and Slalom. This is a business builder role, not a business operator.

So, what will I do?

  • Create and execute alliances strategy across Microsoft Canada and all Slalom locations in Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary)
  • Focus on growing revenue at a set of market prioritized accounts/industry, by selling with and alongside the Microsoft partner channel
  • Carry a partner sales quota and a sales origination target
  • Orchestrate & manage relationships with Microsoft alliance partners
  • Drive collaboration between Slalom capability leaders, account and portfolio leaders, PDMs, and Microsoft ATU/SSPs from Canada
  • Participate in account planning to identify partner focus within accounts and industries
  • Serve as Microsoft partner "voice of the market" within Slalom
  • Team with Slalom marketing and our partners to execute local partner-marketing campaigns and events
  • Effectively manage and mitigate channel conflict in collaboration with market and global leaders develop contingency plans, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Increase Slalom brand visibility with Microsoft through networking, marketing campaigns, and partner events.
  • Secure executive engagement (e.g., C-level briefings) and align Slalom's positioning with Microsoft's priorities, involving capability owners and portfolio leads.
  • Create and distribute content to sharpen Slalom's narrative, enable field sellers, support proposals/pricing, and share proof points.
  • Support partner enablement for sales and technical certifications.

And, what will I bring?

  • 15+ years combined experience in alliance management, partner sales, technology sales, business development, or consulting services specifically within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience with partner co-sales motions
  • Ability to own alliance sales pursuits with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Expert understanding of building and executing Alliance go-to-market strategies
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the partner ecosystem, including incentive programs, enablement offerings and success measures
  • Strong ability to build relationships with account teams and senior leadership
  • Excellent storytelling & presentation skills, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work from the Slalom Toronto office and/or Partner office locations a minimum of 2-3 days per week
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for meetings or conferences

Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements
