Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Road Design Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to design roads and highway geometr.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Development the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.  This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.
  • You will perform detailed calculations, 3D models, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
  • Provides support for other engineering activities as required. 
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (i.e. drainage, linear infrastructure, structural) to produce deliverables.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency either with Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads or with AutoCAD, Civil 3D is required.
  • Either municipal or MTO experience is required.
  • Registered P. Eng. preferred with 5+ years of experience with road & highway design
  • Roadway geometric design background required. 
  • Experience with policies and procedures is preferred. 
  • Experience on design-build projects is desirable. 
  • Strong communication and coordination skills (written and verbal)
