Job Details
- Location: Vancouver, BC (in-person)
- Job type: Full-time (30–40 hours/week)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime shifts (no overnight shifts)
- Pay: $22–$28 per hour (CAD), based on experience
What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)
- Greet and assist visitors professionally at the front desk (in person and by phone)
- Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system; respond to emails and inquiries
- Book, confirm, and update appointments using scheduling software
- Support daily office operations: filing, scanning, data entry, and document prep
- Process payments and receipts (cash/credit/debit) as needed
- Maintain accurate client/customer records and protect confidentiality
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
- Keep reception and common areas tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked
- Support the team with general administrative tasks and light office coordination
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a front desk receptionist, customer service, or administrative role (1+ year preferred; strong entry-level candidates welcome)
- Confident communication skills (in-person, phone, and email)
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask calmly
- Comfortable using computers and common tools like Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Google Workspace
- Reliable, punctual, and professional—someone who takes pride in being the first point of contact
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with scheduling/booking systems, POS systems, or CRM software
- Cash handling, invoicing, or basic bookkeeping support
- Experience in a busy office, clinic, spa, or professional services setting
