Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, setting up and operating CNC machinery, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of finished parts. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision instruments and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Program CNC machines using relevant software.
  • Utilize software for designing parts and optimizing machining processes.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain quality control checks.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-Year CNC Machining experience is required.
  • High School Diploma is required. Post-secondary education completion in computing/ coding/ programming/ or related CNC field strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred.

Pay: $36.50 per hour
