Job Title: Technical Sales Representative
Location: Dorval, Quebec
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Date: January 2026
Join the Team That Keeps the World's Streets Moving
Every city relies on unseen heroes - the machines that keep roads, airports, and ports clean and safe. Behind those machines are the people who keep them running. At
Sweeper Parts Sales
, we're proud to support that mission. We design, source, and deliver the replacement parts that power the world's street sweepers - and in doing so, we help communities breathe a little easier and shine a little brighter.
We're a small, specialized team that believes in reliability, craftsmanship, and real customer relationships.
For over 17 years, we've proudly supported the sweeping industry - helping fleets across North America stay on the road and cities stay clean. When a sweeper goes down, cities depend on us to get it back in service fast - and we take that responsibility seriously.
Now, we're looking for a
bilingual team member with mechanical experience
who's ready to apply their hands-on knowledge in a dynamic role that
blends technical work with customer service and operations
.
About the Role
As a
Technical Sales Representative
, you'll be both a problem-solver and a product expert - a trusted point of contact for customers who rely on your mechanical insight. You'll diagnose issues, identify parts, and help customers keep their fleets running efficiently.
This is a true hybrid role
- part office, part hands-on. You'll spend your days combining technical expertise with customer connection, quoting and processing orders, and occasionally assembling or shipping parts. It's work that keeps you engaged, balanced, and deeply connected to the products and people you support.
Your Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and quote requests via phone and email.
- Use your mechanical background and reference materials to identify correct parts.
- Offer accurate product and technical information to guide customer decisions.
- Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and manage shipping documents.
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment as needed.
- Track orders and coordinate with couriers or freight carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with inventory.
- Support the team with day-to-day operational and administrative needs.
Your Background
- Bilingual (English & French) - required.
- Experience as a truck, heavy equipment, or diesel mechanic - required.
- High school diploma - required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in parts and systems.
- Customer service or parts counter experience is an asset.
- Clear, professional communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using basic computer tools (email, Excel, data entry).
- Team-oriented and adaptable in a small business environment.
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs when handling parts.
What You'll Gain
- Purpose: Play a vital role in keeping cities across North America clean and operational.
- Balance: A role that's 50% hands-on, 50% office - blending your technical skills with customer service and coordination.
- Growth: Learn new systems, gain product expertise, and work directly with industry professionals.
- Stability: Consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits plan.
- Team Environment: A small, close-knit crew where your ideas and effort make a real impact.
Be part of something that matters.
At Sweeper Parts Sales, every part we send out helps a community run cleaner, safer, and better. If you're ready to combine your mechanical expertise with customer connection and purpose, we'd love to meet you.
Apply today and help keep the movement for clean cities rolling forward.
