Our Offering

  • Competitive wages – starting rate: $27.09; top rate: $30.87 per hour + shift premiums (wage is assigned based on skill and ability and position);
  • Eligible for medical and dental benefits the 1st of the month following date of hire;

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately inspect a variety of parts and/or purchased material dimensionally and/or visually to prescribed quality standards and procedures.
  • Be proficient in the use of basic measuring gauge tools including mechanical, pneumatic, optical and electrical devices.
  • Follow inspection protocols as prescribed in applicable quality procedures.
  • Read and interpret production prints, and other written instructions necessary to perform assigned work.
  • Perform several different operations requiring skill and judgment to take inspection from start to finish.
  • Be able to make setups or adjustments on certain standard gauges or equipment.
  • Record routine data and count parts as directed.
  • Assist in training new employees and other inspectors/operators as required.
  • Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
  • Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and required certification(s).

  • Education: Grade 12 diploma
  • Skills: Mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail
