Your Key Responsibilities Accurately inspect a variety of parts and/or purchased material dimensionally and/or visually to prescribed quality standards and procedures. Be proficient in the use of basic measuring gauge tools including mechanical, pneumatic, optical and electrical devices. Follow inspection protocols as prescribed in applicable quality procedures. Read and interpret production prints, and other written instructions necessary to perform assigned work. Perform several different operations requiring skill and judgment to take inspection from start to finish. Be able to make setups or adjustments on certain standard gauges or equipment. Record routine data and count parts as directed. Assist in training new employees and other inspectors/operators as required. Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas. Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and required certification(s).
