Job Summary

Eastern Ready Mix is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be resposible for accurately estimating project costs, negotiating contracts, and ensuring projected are completed in a timely manner and within budget. This role requires strong analytical skills, communication skills, and comprehensive understanding of construction estimating practices , and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

  • Review procurement websites for work opportunities related to precast products,
  • Complete takeoffs, preliminary estimates, and pricing of tenders and quotes for projects requiring precast infrastructure,
  • Coordinate with clients for completion of shop drawings, production, and scheduling requirements for precast items.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of precast products
  • Oversee quality controls and quality assurance programs, ensuring all testing requirements are completed.
  • Degree or diploma in civil engineering or sufficient experience.
  • Project managements and estimation experience considered an asset.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project, and technical issues to bring the projects to a successful completion.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD is considered a strong asset.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in civil engineering or sufficient experience.
  • Project managements and estimation experience considered an asset.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project, and technical issues to bring the projects to a successful completion.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to read plans and understand basic contractual requirements.
  • Applications must possess a valid drivers license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
