Overview

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will serve as the strategic marketing leader for a high-growth company specializing in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) treatments in Ontario. This executive will own the brand vision, drive patient acquisition, expand physician and hospital partnerships, and develop a system to grow the non-OHIP private treatments.

The ideal candidate combines deep healthcare marketing expertise with a passion for innovative therapies, data-driven growth in a B2C environment and experience with physician relationships.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Brand Architecture

  • Develop and execute a 3–5-year marketing roadmap to achieve 100%+ YoY growth in clinical referrals, and patient volume.
  • Define and protect a premium, evidence-backed brand identity that differentiates the company from wellness spas and low-cost competitors.
  • Lead positioning for OHIP indications (e.g., diabetic ulcers, radiation injury) while strategically navigating off-label use cases (Post stroke, Long COVID, longevity) within regulatory boundaries.

2. Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • B2B (Physicians & Hospitals):
  • Build targeted campaigns for wound care centers, surgery, internal medicine physicians, and sports medicine.
  • Help enhance existing physician relationships.
  • D2C (Direct-to-Consumer):
  • Launch digital funnels for high-intent patients
  • Optimize paid search (Google Ads for "hyperbaric oxygen therapy near me") and SEO for 10x organic traffic
  • Lead the development of a modern website and integrated social media strategy

3. Team & Agency Leadership

  • Hire and lead marketing team (growth, content, design, analytics, events).

4. Data, Tech & Innovation

  • Implement a modern Marketing Technology stack:
  • CRM: Salesforce Health Cloud
  • Analytics with EHR integrations (Accuro)
  • Automation/Pilot AI-driven patient triage chatbots and predictive lead scoring.

Experience

  • Required
  • 5+ years in healthcare marketing; 1+ years at CMO/VP level.

Preferred

  • Direct experience with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wound care, or regenerative medicine.
  • Experience launching cash-pay elective medical treatments

  • Base Salary: $125 000
  • Annual Bonus: 75–100% (tied to revenue & pipeline)
  • Full medical, unlimited PTO
  • Track record of 3x pipeline growth in B2B healthcare sales.
  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences); MBA preferred.
