Requirements:

  • Previous pool or trades experience is an asset but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate
  • A valid Class G driver's license is an asset but not mandatory
  • Comfortable performing a variety of hands-on tasks daily
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Willing to work longer hours during peak pool season when required

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Junior Pool Service Technician who would be interested in joining West Cove Pools. Training will be provided. This position will start in April and will last until mid to late October/November, at which point, you will be laid off. You are expected to work 5 days a week, Monday to Fridays, some Saturdays to work during busy months (May, June, September, October). Start time is 730 am at the office,

You will be a helper on a truck and will assist the lead driver mainly with but not limited to:

  • Pool liner installations
  • Underground plumbing repairs
  • Pool openings and closings
  • Weekly maintenance service
  • Pool equipment service, including gas heater and gas piping
  • Winter cover installations
  • Window cleaning, pressure washing, home exteriors

Rewards:

  • Compensation is $19- $25 per hour to start (Based on experience and how quickly you can learn) . Combination of hourly wage and/or Piece work per job.
