Tasks
The
Procurement Specialist
is responsible for
- Manage the procurement process for assigned commodities, ensuring timely purchase & delivery of materials & equipment to support production schedules
- Analyze, interpret, & report cost & financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, & decision-making
- Serve as the primary point of contact with suppliers for negotiations, issue resolution, & ongoing relationship management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, & Finance to ensure alignment between purchasing activities & operational needs
- Support monthly & annual financial closings by validating purchasing data & contributing to spend analysis reports
- Maintain organized procurement records & assist in the implementation of purchasing system enhancements
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
The ideal
Procurement Specialist
should meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED required
- Bachelor's Degree desirable
- Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French and German is an asset
- Knowledge of Aviation MRO, Project Management, Business Development
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment assessments or screenings
- Willingness to travel as required
- Must hold a valid Canadian driver's license
- CV/Resume and Cover Letter required
- Company will not provide relocation assistance
