Join the Little Spoons Team
Working with kids, creating delicious food, and having fun in small, joyful classes can feel like a gift rather than a job. At Little Spoons, we want every team member to feel excited, supported, and truly connected to our mission of teaching kids the joy of cooking. Before you apply, let's make sure we're the right fit for each other
Class Schedule
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Saturdays & Sundays: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Please note: preparation and cleaning require you to arrive a little earlier and stay a little later than class hours.
Growth Path
- Start as an Assistant — helping the instructor with setup, supporting kids, and keeping the class running smoothly.
- Grow into an Instructor — once you're confident and trained, we expect you to lead your own classes and take ownership of the branch.
What We Expect From You
- Love working with kids — patience, kindness, and the ability to make children feel safe and happy.
- Comfort in the kitchen — basic cooking or baking knowledge, and a willingness to learn more.
- Clean & organized — helping set up, tidy, and keep the environment safe.
- Energy & positivity — keeping classes fun, engaging, and full of encouragement.
- Availability — able to work during the above class hours, plus prep/cleanup time.
- Reliable transportation — getting to our Barrie on time.
- Team spirit — working closely with team, supporting kids, and jumping in wherever needed.
- Responsibility — arriving on time, being reliable, and following safety guidelines.
