Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and efficient environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and food industry operations within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to sanitation and food safety

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
