Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Greet customers with a friendly attitude and take their orders accurately
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including upselling menu items when appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchen stations, and dining spaces
  • Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times during food handling and preparation
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
  • Assist in serving food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
  • Uphold restaurant policies on sanitation, safety, and customer service standards

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
  • Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance customer experience and sales performance
