Job Description

The ABAP Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-ready solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role supports the organization's digital transformation by delivering high-quality ABAP Cloud solutions aligned with SAP best practices and business requirements. The developer collaborates closely with functional teams, business analysts, and technical stakeholders to ensure effective integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ABAP Cloud applications on SAP BTP.
  • Build and enhance solutions using ABAP, RAP, CDS views, and CAP.
  • Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and services.
  • Integrate SAP systems using CPI, APIs (REST/SOAP), and IDocs.
  • Support analytics and reporting using CDS analytical views and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines, transport management, and Cloud ALM activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to deliver enterprise solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar SAP development role.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and related SAP modules.
  • Proficiency in ABAP, RAP, and CDS Views.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP Business Application Studio.
  • Experience with SAP CPI, APIs, and integration technologies.
  • Familiarity with Git, gCTS, CI/CD pipelines, and Cloud ALM.
  • Experience building analytics using embedded S/4HANA analytics and SAC.
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on large ERP programs.
  • SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies.
  • Exposure to Hybrid Agile and project management methodologies.
  • Experience working with large system integrator teams.
