About the Opportunity

Our client, a dynamic leader in the beauty industry, is looking for a talented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their transformative team. With renowned brands under its umbrella, the company is embarking on significant organizational changes following an acquisition. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, and become a pivotal part of streamlining consolidation and reporting processes. You'll have the chance to contribute to the optimization of reporting timelines as the company transitions to new ERP systems, engaging with offshored teams to propel efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive company financial statements and detailed accounting records under IFRS.

  • Create and manage a standard internal reporting package.

  • Support reconciliation and consolidation of intercompany transactions.

  • Oversee the month-end and annual close processes to ensure accuracy.

  • Ensure timely recording and oversight of capital expenditures.

  • Review transactions for accurate allocation and classification across cost centers.

  • Maintain consistent financial statement representation across reporting systems.

  • Support the enhancement of financial processes and controls.

  • Drive and execute finance-related projects in line with business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, maintaining financial integrity and controls.

What You Bring

  • Strong financial knowledge with experience in systems, reporting, and analytics.

  • Relevant education in Finance or Business Administration.

  • CPA Designation or equivalent.

  • Over 5 years of progressive financial reporting experience, including managing a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • A drive for continuous improvement and process automation.

  • Experience with D365 or similar ERP systems is an asset.
