BrainBoost Education, a values-driven learning centre in Vancouver, BC, is hiring a full-time educator with expertise in Math and supporting students with diagnosed learning disabilities and neurodivergent profiles. We are especially seeking someone with experience teaching students who learn differently - whether through neurodivergence, formal LD diagnoses, or non-traditional educational backgrounds.

Position Details:
- Role: Full-Time Educator (with a focus on Math and LD support)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 40 hours per week (30 teaching hours plus 10 hours prep and collaboration time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, one-on-one math instruction (Grades 6–12)
- Support students with diagnosed learning disabilities and other learning differences
- Tailor lessons to diverse learning styles and individual needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
- Collaborate with a team of innovative, compassionate educators
- Document, reflect on and refine your teaching practices regularly
What We're Looking For:
Subject Expertise:
- Strong foundation in Math (Grades 6–12)
- Ability to support additional subjects (in Science or Humanities)
Teaching and Learning Support Experience:
- Experience teaching/mentoring young people (Grades 6-12)
- Experience supporting students with diagnosed learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia)
- Familiarity with neurodivergent learning profiles, including ADHD and autism, and strategies to support those learners
Teaching Style & Approach:
- Creative, flexible, student-centred
- Skilled in designing and delivering one-on-one instruction
- Committed to relational, inclusive, and strength-based teaching
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Demonstrated understanding of learning disabilities and instructional adaptations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, non-traditional educational setting
