Part-Time Math Instructor

Overview

We're looking for a passionate Math Instructor to join our Collingwood team. You should have a strong math background and enjoy working with students. In this role, you'll help students build confidence and improve their math skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach students using the Mathnasium Method.
• Provide individualized instruction in small group settings.
• Track and assess student progress.
• Use digital tools and learning materials effectively.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and organized workspace.
• Teach math from basic arithmetic to higher-level topics.
• Give feedback and encouragement to help students succeed.
• Record attendance and progress accurately.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with children; patient and adaptable.
• Strong understanding of math concepts across grade levels.
• Confident teaching algebra, geometry, calculus, and more.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and digital teaching tools.
• Knowledge of special education or computer science is a plus.
• Typical hours: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Weekdays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
