The Team Time Operator plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and well-being of frontline lone workers. This position is responsible for monitoring periodic safety checks, identifying missed or overdue check-ins, and ensuring immediate follow-up to confirm worker welfare. Accuracy, quick decision-making, and effective communication are essential to success in this role.
This Role is Casual
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Follow Up on Missed Safety Checks
- Review all periodic safety check-ins and promptly initiate follow-up when a check is missed or overdue.
- Escalate Unresolved Safety Concerns and Ensure all necessary escalation steps are taken if a worker cannot be reached or if a safety check cannot be cleared.
- Accurately input all escalation details, follow-up actions, and outcomes into the dispatch application.
- Close Escalations After Verification; Confirm the worker's welfare and properly close the case following company protocols.
- Respond to Internal and External Communications. Manage emails and inquiries in a timely and professional manner to support smooth operational flow.
- Support Safety Education; Provide feedback or clarification to frontline workers to help improve completion and accuracy of safety check-ins.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Health & Safety, or a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and respond to urgent situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using dispatch or tracking software
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Education Requirements (All)
High School Diploma/GED
