Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices and washing dishes.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
