The Company

At Canopy Growth, our mission is clear: improve lives, end cannabis prohibition, and strengthen communities. We believe that cannabis can be a force for good. We're building a consumer-centric organization that is focused on sharing the transformational potential of cannabis with the world. We will achieve this through an innovative and disruptive portfolio of cannabis and hemp-derived products.

Canopy Growth is the world's leading cannabis and hemp company. We recognize that employees are at the core of our success, and we take pride in a corporate culture that emphasizes inclusiveness, collaboration, and diversity.

Our employees come from a wide range of backgrounds, each bringing their own unique skills and talents to the table, working together to continue our incredible momentum of growth. If you are interested in building global challenger brands, scaling a business, and working in a values-driven environment, we want to hear from you

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director, International Planning and Allocation to lead supply chain planning and execution across our global markets. This role is responsible for ensuring compliant, efficient, and financially sound supply chain operations that enable the growth of our international business. The successful candidate will oversee demand and supply planning, enterprise-wide inventory allocation, and cross-functional coordination with Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams.

This role will lead a small but critical team, including a Cultivation Planning Manager and an International Analytics Manager. The Director will provide strategic direction, coaching, and oversight to ensure both functions operate effectively. The analytics capability is new and rapidly evolving—requiring proactive leadership to build robust processes, leverage insights, and drive data-informed decisions that support international growth.

This leader will own the strategy and execution for international supply, working across time zones, leading the cultivation planning function, and ensuring products flow seamlessly to Canada and international markets. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, highly collaborative, and able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the international S&OP process, driving alignment between demand, supply, finance, and regulatory teams, ensuring all international markets are serviced in line with corporate priorities
  • Oversee enterprise-wide inventory allocation strategies, ensuring alignment to forecast and demand signals across Recreational, Medical, and International channels
  • Own accountability for delivering financial targets within the international supply chain function, partnering with Finance to ensure inventory investments align with company objectives
  • Oversee the cultivation planning function, including flower allocation across Canada and international markets
  • Partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Legal to ensure all planning and shipment decisions meet market-specific compliance requirements (permits, testing, QA release)
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including building new tools, processes, and reporting capabilities to scale international operations
  • Build strong working relationships across multiple time zones, acting as a bridge between Canadian operations and global stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting and executive level updates on international supply chain performance, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, enhance visibility, and improve service levels across international markets
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Finance or Operations roles
  • 5+ years of experience in people management, with a focus on cross-functional leadership and capability development
  • Financial acumen with demonstrated experience aligning supply chain decisions to inventory targets and P&L impacts
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Commercial teams
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing teams, building tools, and driving process improvements
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, multi-time-zone environment, balancing strategic focus with operational execution
