JOB TITLE: Housekeeper / Room Attendant

POSTING DATE: May 16th 2025

START DATE: Immediately

WAGE: $18-$20/hour

HOURS REQUIRED: Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal or Year-Round Positions Available

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able to attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. Our goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation in the hospitality market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a variety of cleaning duties including but not limited to: mopping/vacuuming floors, laundry, washing dishes, cleaning windows, quality control inspection of suites and cabins and general cleaning of common areas

  • Ensure all suites and cabins are cared for and inspected according to standards put forth by management/supervisory team

  • Notify managers/supervisors on any damages, deficits and disturbances

  • Respectfully solve reasonable guest concerns and requests

  • Monitor inventory levels of all consumables, cleaning products and linens – Replace/re-order when appropriate

  • Adhere to rules regarding health & safety and WHIMIS

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid drivers license

  • Willing to train, but proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is a plus

  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

  • Customer-oriented and friendly

  • Prioritization and time management skills

  • Working quickly without compromising quality

  • Knowledge of the English language is a plus

  • High school diploma is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
