Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and safety standards.

Strong experience with townhomes, apartments, and high-rise projects is highly preferred. We offer growth opportunities — including the potential to move into a Project Manager role for the right candidate.

Duties

  • Lead, supervise, and support electricians and apprentices on commercial and multi-unit residential projects..
  • Oversee daily site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical specifications.
  • Plan materials, tools, and equipment required for each phase of work.
  • Maintain project schedules, track manpower, and report progress to management.
  • Troubleshoot onsite issues and make decisions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with BC codes, company safety policies, and WorkSafeBC requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and support to apprentices and junior team members.
  • Document daily activities, materials used, and time tracking.

What You Bring

  • Valid BC Journeyman Electrician ticket (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or multi-unit residential work (townhomes, apartments, high-rise preferred).
  • Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or Site Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of BC electrical code and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and take full responsibility on site.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating manpower, scheduling, and site operations.
  • Reliable transportation to and between job sites.
