Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves designing and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with children, families, and colleagues to support each child's unique needs and ensure a positive educational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support diverse learning styles, including those of children with disabilities or special needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education practices.

Qualifications

  • Level 1, 2 or 3 ECE
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.64-$29.49 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
