Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, proper vehicle handling, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
  • Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying orders against delivery documents
  • Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicles
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or issues
  • Perform Kitchen tasks such as, washing dishes, cleaning, help in cutting vegetables, meat etc.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if vehicle issues arise during deliveries

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of automotive repair basics for minor vehicle troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
