We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Dental Hygienist to join our growing, dynamic team to fill an upcoming vacancy. This is a part-time, 12 - month contract position for Tuesdays only (8:00 am-5:00 pm & once a month 2:30 pm- 7:30 pm). There is potential for this role to become permanent, with additional days in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bonding brackets and orthodontic appliances
• Removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances
• Remove bonding adhesive with a high-speed handpiece
• Placing and removing arch wires
• Delivery of Invisalign and placement/removal of Invisalign attachments
• Taking impressions for orthodontic appliances
• Chart procedures
• Provide oral health education, appliance, and elastic instructions to our patients and families
• Managing the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills and informing patients/parents on treatment progress
• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice

What you'll need to succeed:

• Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program in Ontario
• Registered with the CDHO and in good standing
• Previous orthodontic experience is strongly preferred
