ABOUT THE JOB:

Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) delivers day-to-day services to Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS) Business Units and their clients.  With IT & Operations teams working side by side under the same leadership, the goal of GBTO is to meet the evolving needs of its clients and market requirements, as well as anticipate technological advances to accelerate and support the transformation of GBIS activities. GBTO is at the very heart of this technological and operational challenge.

The Trade Sustainability & Commodity Middle Office (TSC/MO) Department provides collateral risk and credit risk monitoring services to the trade commodity finance Americas client base. Responsibilities include daily monitoring of collateral/financing activity, reconcile credit agreement terms, as well as acting as the day-to-day interface between the Client, the Front Office, and the Back Offices.  TSC/MO monitors and reviews collateral, loans, Letters of Credits, and payment requests for clients in the Energy, Agricultural and Metal's structure.    

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following\: 

Analyzing and approving letter of credit or loan request from the clientPerforming AML and Sanctions checks on all dealsReconcile activities and making sure both your records match the bank booking system (i.e, collateral valuation, receivable due dates etc.)Sending activities to the Back office to update the bank systemPerforming covenants monitoring & analysis and Past due follow up\: borrowing base report, financial report etc.Holding monthly or quarterly meetings to discuss trend and analysis on client collateral report and market eventsParticipating in closing meeting to review and comment on closing/legal documentation

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have\: 

Hands on Middle Office or Back Office collateral monitoring experienceStrong problem solving, analytical mindset and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multitask.Good understanding of accounting concepts (Cash, AP, AR, Net, Inventory)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong Excel knowledge (ability to create formulas)

Languages\: French, English

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
