Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson, you will work with a team of fully flexible tradespersons to ensure mill availability is maximized in an efficient manner.  With a focus on reliability and Predictive / Preventative maintenance, you will be involved with inspections and repairs to a variety of mill mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

In addition to your immediate team, you will work closely with other departments, which consists of Operations, Mechanical Maintenance, Supply & Services and E/I. Together with your team, you will help execute the strategies and initiatives that drive safety, environmental compliance, quality, and production goals. This opportunity is on our hybrid maintenance shift, consisting of four days on, four days off.

Qualifications
  • Industrial Mechanic Red Seal 
  • Journeyman Pipefitter considered an asset
  • 2-5 years' experience
  • Previous maintenance experience in heavy industry would be considered an asset
  • Journeyman Welder (F3, F4 Pressure Pipe ticket, Tig & Mig) would be considered an asset
  • Problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work shift work - 4 days at a time
