Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Lead Carpenter. This role requires a strong background in various construction tasks, with an emphasis on quality workmanship, communication and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes experience in carpentry, concrete, and residential construction, enabling them to contribute effectively on Custom Building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately.
  • Perform/Guide Light Framing, Concrete forming and Rebar installation for structural integrity.
  • Carry out projects including layout & elevations ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Execute construction task list, planning, material & tool take offs to maintain schedule.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
  • Conduct leadership & training with others to maintain productive work flow on site.
  • Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong planning & communication skills required guiding our team and customers.

Skills

  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction elevations.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming & framing techniques.
  • Ability to respectfully lead, communicate and train labour in various environments.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes & time management.
  • Experience in concrete, forming, framing/carpentry work is needed for QC leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship across multiple trades.
  • Capable of performing tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy & guiding others.

Pay: $26.48-$45.74 per hour
