Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, food handling, and efficient service skills to create a memorable experience for patrons. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management and multitasking abilities while maintaining a positive attitude.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and recipes
  • Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations as needed
  • Operate POS systems efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Ensure all beverages are served responsibly, adhering to food safety and alcohol regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
  • Assist with food service when required, including serving food items to guests
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills

Experience

  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Experience in serving or hospitality roles is a plus but not mandatory
