Applications Engineer (Inside Technical Sales – Power Generation)

Edmonton, AB | $75K–$100K CAD base + bonuses

We've partnered with a
leading power generation solutions provider
specializing in
reciprocating engine genset packaging and cogeneration systems.
The team is growing and seeking an
Applications Engineer
to support technical sales operations — designing and quoting system packages, preparing proposals, and collaborating across departments to deliver best-in-class energy solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and quote complete application packages for gas-powered genset systems.
  • Prepare technical proposals aligned with customer and project requirements.
  • Evaluate bids, perform specification reviews, and issue RFQs to vendors.
  • Support procurement, costing, and estimation for mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Ideal Profile:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 4+ years in application engineering or technical sales (power generation or packaging).
  • Strong knowledge of reciprocating engines, cogeneration, and gas systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
  • Local to Edmonton area and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
