Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Inside & Counter Sales Person for our Medicine Hat location. The successful candidate should excel in customer service, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Job Title: Inside & Counter Sales
Location: 1566 Gershaw Dr SW, Medicine Hat, AB
Job purpose: This position's primary responsibilities are to increase sales and profitability by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers primarily through phone, email, and at the sales counter.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized attention to each customer, providing the best in quality service and value.
- Take ownership of key accounts with face-to-face interactions, company swag, showing interest in their projects, etc.
- Answer customer inquiries via phone and email and process POS transactions and payments at the front counter
- Work effectively within customer relationship management (CRM) software (creating leads, following up on leads, turning leads into orders, following up on purchases)
- Monitor quote success rates and watch for trends; reporting details on reasons for unsuccessful quotes in CRM software for sales lead review.
- Attend year-round training sessions and product knowledge seminars, pursue industry certifications when training and testing is available
- Work with team mates to learn, mentor, and assist with workload
