Role Description

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with some remote working flexibility. The CTO will lead the technology vision and strategy for wAize, overseeing software development, architecture, and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include guiding project management, aligning technology integrations with business goals, collaborating with teams to drive innovation, and leading the development of scalable, customer-focused solutions. Ensuring operational excellence and shaping a forward-thinking technology roadmap are core to this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Software Development and knowledge of Architecture principles for building scalable and secure solutions
  • Strong Project Management skills to oversee timelines, team collaborations, and deliverables
  • Expertise in IT Strategy to align technological initiatives with business objectives
  • Experience with Product Development, including launching scalable, user-centric web applications
  • Leadership and team management abilities with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Experience with AI integration and scalable infrastructure is an asset
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience is highly valued
  • A strong knowledge of current trending agentic AI tools is strongly preferred
