Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation, with a strong understanding of construction processes and techniques. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as envelope and the ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Duties

  • Fabricate and install sheet metal flashing profiles according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal flashing.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sheet metal work or related construction fields.
  • Familiarity with construction management principles and practices.
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
  • Experience with various construction tasks such as rainscreen envelope, roofing, cladding, and soffit installation.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Previous experience on construction sites is essential.
