We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our supported living settings. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while developing their careers in the Developmental Services or Child and Youth Work sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and adhere to individualized care plans and structured daily routines
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and medication administration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive home environment
- Effectively manage crisis situations, including the use of physical intervention techniques when necessary
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with agency standards
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other service professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Provide transportation for residents to appointments or community-based activities using a company vehicle
Qualifications and Requirements
- Completion of a recognized two-year post-secondary diploma in Developmental Services Work (DSW), Child and Youth Care (CYC), or Social Service Work (SSW) (mandatory)
- Valid Class G Driver's License with clean driving record (G1 and G2 not accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a residential care setting (required)
- Current UMAB (Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour) certification is considered an asset
- Strong crisis management, de-escalation, and interpersonal skills
- Physically able to support residents with mobility needs and perform physical interventions (lifting up to 50 lbs)
Work Schedule
- 12-hour rotating shifts
- Availability for day, evening, night, and holiday coverage required
