Founded in 1971, Berk's Intertruck has grown to become one of the most respected dealer groups in Canada representing Volvo Trucks, Isuzu Trucks, and Felling Trailers.

Berk's is now actively recruiting for a Parts Inventory Control Clerk to join their team in Nanaimo. As the Inventory Control Clerk, the successful candidate will support the Parts department with inventory, invoicing, and generating payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile invoices from suppliers.
  • Create and process invoices into ERP system as required.
  • Identify discrepancies in billings and follow up with various internal departments for resolution.
  • Reconcile customer payments and ensure copies of all transactions are received by head office.
  • Assist with incoming calls.
  • Process customer stock order daily as required.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Preference will be given to candidates that have at least 1 year of experience in a within a dealership setting or automotive industry.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent discretion and judgment in carrying out responsibilities and resolving day-to-day matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Creative problem solver who works in a professional and ethical manner.
