Summary

We are seeking an Owner Operator Driver to join our team at Commander West Trucking. This role involves operating a day cab truck to deliver essential materials to various contractors and companies in the region. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing top-notch delivery services.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a day cab truck safely and efficiently for material deliveries.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Load and unload materials using the forklift as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with flatbed trucks.
  • Familiarity with freight handling and transportation regulations.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently is required.
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Honest / Experienced / Dedicated are the type of operators that we look for.
