**Job description**

  • Up hold, enforce and develop a Preventative Maintenance plan for most if not all equipment within the plant
  • Conduct all necessary maintenances to minimize downtime for production lines.
  • Assist contracted service technicians and work along side them to gain understanding of machine.
  • Diagnose pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic or mechanical problems and complete necessary repairs. (ie. belts, chains, small motors and gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders.)
  • Ability to diagnose and repair issues with Coolers and Freezers.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment,
  • Maintain stock levels of spare parts
  • Ensure all work is completed following all plant rules and regulations (GMP and Safety Standards)
  • Install and commission new machinery - train machine operators on the equipment.
  • Suggest and make recommendations to improve the existing infrastructure
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Salary may be negotiated based on experience and skill.

**Requirements**

  • Millwright certification will be an asset.
