Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients, managing pharmacy staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and optimizing medication management within our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding pharmacy practices.
  • Oversee medication administration processes to ensure patient safety and efficacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide recommendations on medication therapies.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medication regimens as necessary.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding medications, potential side effects, and proper usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions and patient interactions.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacotherapy, medical terminology, and acute care practices.
