Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Automotive Internet Sales Manager to lead our digital sales department and drive vehicle sales through internet leads, phone calls, and walk-in traffic. This role is responsible for managing all online sales activity, coaching the BDC/Internet team, and ensuring every customer—online, on the phone, or in person—receives a top-tier buying experience.
The ideal candidate has strong automotive sales experience, leadership skills, and a proven ability to convert leads into appointments and sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to all inbound internet leads from OEMs, third-party sites, website forms, email, and chat
- Handle incoming phone calls and walk-in customers when needed to maximize sales opportunities
- Lead, train, and motivate the Internet/BDC sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales goals
- Ensure fast response times and consistent follow-up on all leads
- Set and confirm appointments and work closely with the showroom sales team
- Monitor lead sources, appointment show rates, closing ratios, and overall performance
- Use CRM tools to track customer interactions and maintain accurate records
- Work with management and marketing to improve lead quality and digital advertising performance
- Maintain professional communication and a customer-first sales approach
- Stay current on dealership inventory, pricing, incentives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive internet sales or BDC management (IS AN ASSET)
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Proven closing skills with internet, phone, and in-person customers
- Experience with automotive CRM systems
- Excellent phone, email, and text communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Fresher with right attitude might be considered as well.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Automotive Internet Sales Manager or BDC Manager experience
- Knowledge of digital lead providers and automotive marketing funnels
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
